God's Original Design

This is the beginning of a short series that is meant to give a larger understanding of God's heart for women and men. This Sunday we're starting with the Old Testament, specifically Genesis to set up God's original design for creating humanity - male and female - in the image of God.

We're starting out by recognizing that many of the roles, reactions, guidelines, and other norms that determine how we feel about the difference of the sexes come from a broken place and are shaped by our experiences and culture. We want to do our best to stay humble and lay aside our biases in order to talk about how we can begin to heal the gap that has come between women and men in the church and the world.
